The new identity speaks to the company’s perpetual and sustainable forward movement while remaining dedicated to the needs of people and society.
SAIC Volkswagen, a Sino-German joint venture, is one of the oldest such cooperatives in China.
The new corporate identity reflects the updated corporate vision and raises awareness of the two brands at the heart of the company’s operations: Volkswagen and ŠKODA. It also better represents the joint venture’s standing in the business community and boosts employee engagement.
The central idea at the heart of the new identity is the unity of “faster, stronger, higher.” With a graphic arrow pattern, the new design cleverly draws on the Chinese character “人”(people), which is a part of “众” (crowds of people), a pivotal character in the joint venture’s Chinese name.
